I gave it to my 3 year old who is just enamored with pirates right now, and he has not stopped playing with it. He's had it over a month. EVERY SINGLE DAY he wears his pirate hat and puts his gold doubloons in his treasure chest we have for him. Some days he's Captain Hook, and others he's Pirate Dominic and my husband and I are made to "Walk the Plank!" You can't expect the highest quality for the price, but for what I wanted, this is absolutely perfect. The coins and other "treasures" are kind of pointless because the treasure chest does not open so there's no place to keep these items together. I just got rid of them because I knew we wouldn't be able to keep track of them. My 2 year old loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates and when it comes on he goes and gets his hat and sword- it's very cute! The materials are sturdy enough to put up with a lot of beatings from my toddler and me from stepping on them at least twice a week. We've had it for about 3 months and it really doesn't show any wear even though he plays with most of the pieces every day. I think it will last for a long time. Overall this is a great set for the money and I would definitely buy it again. |
