There are many reviews that talk about being heavy or not. I'm completely average build at 5'10" and this costume just doesn't fit very well. The problem with this, is that the entire thing is one single piece. Contrary to how it looks, it is basically a jump suit. As such, unless you happen to be of a build specifically designed for this (I'm guessing a bigger person (taller, more muscular), then this just won't look good.For this to really work, the various components should be separate so that you can individually adjust them to your build, but this isn't the case. Instead of an XL he needed a medium. I called the company and was told, no problem, a medium would soon be in stock and I could then mail my package back (at my own expense) for an exchange. GREAT.Well, the USPS priority mail bag they recommended was not large enough for this xl costume with puffy muscle chest. The Amazon box I had laying around was too large and mailing the costume with this box would cost me nearly as much as what I paid in the first place. Finally I found an old boot box that was in great shape, so I packaged the costume up, wrote the special return code they gave me on the package, as instructed, paid $11.14 to have it mailed to 7th Avenue and then I went on a 2 week vacation. When I returned, the boot box was on my porch with "REFUSED" written on it and "DAMAGED BOX" written in what I am assuming is the handwriting of a 7th Avenue staff... Read more |
