We were worried it would be too short, as most costumes are, but this dress touches the floor. The material is very nice, not too thin. The arm bands are stretchy and the head piece is a little on the cheap side, but not enough to throw it out or anything. We plan on accessorizing it ourselves so for this price its a GREAT deal! She's very pleased. He's six so he doesn't care because he can still use it to play. But as a mother I found it very disappointing. I wasn't expecting much, but seriously not even 5 minutes of play before breaking? Not worth the hassle of a return but buyers beware. It is a bit smaller than it seems in the picture (about 8x10), but the strap is long so it would work for an older child as well.The quality is actually really good for the price. The only thing I wish it had was an adjustable strap (I just used a saftey pin to make the strap shorter). My son can carry toys around in it now and I will be interested to see how it holds up to all the halloween candy it will carry in the future. Um. Wrong. Instead of a construction hat, I received a Firefighter's Helmet...! While it is not worth returning, it forces me to go elsewhere to look for a construction hat. A firefighter's helmet doesn't quite go with the construction vest nor the tool workbench I intend on giving my nephew for his birthday. :) Just be warned. Had I read that "design may vary" meant you may not get a construction hat at all, I would have selected a different "construction hat". The hat is really cute, and gets a lot of play at our house, but that's because my 18 month old daughter wears it! It wouldn't even go on my 3 year old's head! If you're ordering this hat for a very young child, then it's a great purchase...but if the child is much more than 18 months old, you'd be best advised to pass on this item and look elsewhere. This review is from: Children's Construction Hard Hat (Design may vary) (Toy) We bought several different hard hats for our two year old grandson. None of them had the insert to adjust to his head. They would slip off whenever he tried to play. This one has the insert to adjust. It fits perfectly on his head and he plays with it all the time with his tools like his Papa. The only thing is that the insert can be removed easily. He was trying to always remove it and then it wouldnt fit. We hot glued it into the hard hat where the insert attaches to the hard hat. It worked perfectly. Now no problems.... would recommend this to anyone having issues with the standard child hard hat that slips off their heads.
