This review is from: Melissa & Doug Knight Costume Role Play Set (Toy) Like all of Melissa & Doug toys, these costumes are very well made. We have a 4 and 6 year old who both fit well in them because they are easy fitting and use velcro fasteners. These are a little more pricey than plastic costumes, but they aren't scratchy, have good detailing, come with a shield and sword. The kids wore them to the Medieval Knights show and fit right in with the staff! They love them. The bright colors are velour and the fasteners are meant to take some use. My son absolutely loves it. the gray fabric arms look like the chain maillot(sp?) they are supposed to resemble and have tiny holes to breathe. Very nice quality product. Fit was perfect for a five year old. I'm a pretty muscular guy, about 6'2" and 240lbs, so I was concerned about the legs and shirt fitting too tightly, but it actually fits really well. It's the first time a "large" has fit in a long time. The boot tops are a little tight, but all in all I'm really satisfied.
